I have a diverse set of experiences pertaining to education such as several years of freelance teaching and working as a teaching assistant at the Vancouver Symphony School of Music.

As a teacher, I strive to create a safe and fun environment conducive to learning. In November 2019 I will conduct open improvisation workshops in schools across the country. The goal of this project is to enable young musicians to play with one another free of expectations and fear resulting in stronger musical and social bonds which speaks to my teaching philosophy. Through a patient and intuitive teaching method, I can help you to set goals based off your own musical interests which can be achieved through structured lesson plans.

Lessons are offered to student of all ages and ability levels.

I can come to you and the first lesson comes with a money back guarantee.

Please email me for rates, scheduling a lesson or any other questions. I look forward to working with you.

“Harry has taught my 15-year-old son guitar- first acoustic and then electric- for approximately two years. He was very much a beginner when he started lessons with Harry. He can now play competently and continues to love playing the guitar.
Harry’s lesson plans are very structured. My son describes Harry’s teaching style as “intuitive and helpful”. In two years of teaching, there was never a disappointing session for him. He was always eager to see Harry and learn from him.”
